Voice Text Linking

Off by default

Give members access to a text channel while they’re in its voice channel, and clear the text when everyone leaves.

Set it up

Open the dashboard and pick your server. Sign in with Discord if you haven’t.
Find Voice Text Linking in the sidebar (or press ⌘K and type its name) and turn it on.
Go through the settings below. Simple mode shows the essentials; switch to Advanced for the rest.
Try it in Discord: /voicelink. Staff can restrict or turn off each command in Commands.

What you’ll find on the Voice Text Linking page of the dashboard. Settings marked Advanced only show in Advanced mode.

When the voice channel empties: Choice

Announce joins: On/off
Join message: Message
Announce leaves: On/off
Leave message: Message
Post them inAdvanced: ChoiceThe linked text channel, or the voice channel’s built-in chat (visible to everyone who can see the voice channel).

Show message history: On/offMembers also see what was said before they joined. Turn it off to show only new messages.
Ignored roles: RolesMembers with these roles are never linked.

Clean-up delay: DurationWait this long after a voice channel empties before clearing or deleting its text channel, so a quick reconnect keeps the chat.
