Slowmode
Off by default
Slow a channel down beyond Discord’s own slowmode: one shared timer for the channel, or a timer per member, with an automatic end.
Set it up
Open the dashboard and pick your server. Sign in with Discord if you haven’t.
Find Slowmode in the sidebar (or press ⌘K and type its name) and turn it on.
Go through the settings below. Simple mode shows the essentials; switch to Advanced for the rest.
Try it in Discord:
/slowmode. Staff can restrict or turn off each command in Commands.
Settings
What you’ll find on the Slowmode page of the dashboard. Settings marked Advanced only show in Advanced mode.
Who is slowed
- Staff are exempt
- On/offMods, managers, admins and the owner can always post.
- Exempt roles
- RolesMembers with any of these roles are never slowed.
- Tell members whyAdvanced
- On/offDM members whose message was deleted with the time they have to wait (at most once every 5 minutes).
