Celebrate members on their birthday with a message, a role for the day and a DM.

Set it up

Open the dashboard and pick your server. Sign in with Discord if you haven’t.
Find Birthdays in the sidebar (or press ⌘K and type its name) and turn it on.
Go through the settings below. Simple mode shows the essentials; switch to Advanced for the rest.
Try it in Discord: /birthday. Staff can restrict or turn off each command in Commands.

Settings

What you’ll find on the Birthdays page of the dashboard. Settings marked Advanced only show in Advanced mode.

Announcements

Announcement channel: ChannelWhere Kovu wishes members a happy birthday.
Announcement time: Text24-hour time, like 09:00.
Time zone: Time zoneFor members who didn’t save their own. Empty uses the server’s time zone.
Use each member’s time zoneAdvanced: On/offAnnounce at the time above in the time zone the member saved.
Birthday message: Message

Role and DM

Birthday role: RoleGiven on the birthday and removed again afterwards.

Options

set date: Like March 14, 14 March or 1995-03-14 (the year stays private)
set timezone (optional): Your time zone, like Europe/Berlin (default: the server’s)
set show_age (optional): Mention your new age in the birthday message (needs the year)
set user (optional): Managers: whose birthday to set
remove user (optional): Managers: whose birthday
show user (optional): Whose birthday (default: yours)
