Custom Commands

On by default

Make your own commands that reply with text or embeds, pick random answers, check roles, DM members or run other commands. Variables fill in names, arguments and more.

Set it up

Open the dashboard and pick your server. Sign in with Discord if you haven’t.
Find Custom Commands in the sidebar. It’s already on in new servers.
Go through the settings below. Simple mode shows the essentials; switch to Advanced for the rest.
Try it in Discord: /customs. Staff can restrict or turn off each command in Commands.

Tips

Start with an FAQ answer: a `?rules` command that posts your rules embed.
See the template variables reference for everything you can use.

Settings

What you’ll find on the Custom Commands page of the dashboard. Settings marked Advanced only show in Advanced mode.

Replies

What Kovu says when a custom command can’t run.

Tell members about cooldowns: On/offReply with the time left when a command is on cooldown.
Explain restrictions: On/offReply when a member can't use a command because of roles or channels.
