Tags
On by default
Tags are saved answers anyone can pull up by name, like `?tag rules`. Staff decide who may create them.
Set it up
Open the dashboard and pick your server. Sign in with Discord if you haven’t.
Find Tags in the sidebar. It’s already on in new servers.
Go through the settings below. Simple mode shows the essentials; switch to Advanced for the rest.
Try it in Discord:
/tag. Staff can restrict or turn off each command in Commands.
Settings
What you’ll find on the Tags page of the dashboard. Settings marked Advanced only show in Advanced mode.
Who can create tags
- Everyone can create tags
- On/offOff: only moderators and the roles below can create tags.
- Tag creator roles
- RolesMembers with one of these roles can create tags. Moderators always can.
- Owners manage their tagsAdvanced
- On/offMembers can edit and delete the tags they created. Moderators can manage all.
Using tags
- Tag shortcut
- On/offRun a tag by its name alone, like `?rules` instead of `?tag rules`. Commands and custom commands with the same name win.
- Delete the requestAdvanced
- On/offRemove the message that asked for a tag, so only the answer stays.
