MEE6 keeps moderation, levels and welcome messages for Premium servers. In Kovu they’re part of every server during early access, along with most of what MEE6 Premium adds.
Kovu is free right now, while we fix bugs, polish the interface and finish the planned features. After that, Kovu will have two paid tiers, priced lower than Dyno and similar bots.

Moving from MEE6
No downtime for your members. Run both bots side by side until Kovu is set up the way you like.
Add Kovu next to MEE6
Both bots can sit in your server while you set Kovu up. Nothing changes for members yet.
Turn on what you used
Set your staff roles in Bot Settings, then turn on the Kovu module for each MEE6 plugin you used. The list below says which is which.
Switch off each MEE6 plugin as you go
Once a Kovu module is set up, turn off the MEE6 plugin it replaces, so members don’t get two welcomes or two level-up messages.
Remove MEE6 when you’re ready
Keep it until everything you need runs in Kovu. Then remove it from the server.
Bringing your setup over
Kovu can’t read MEE6’s settings or data, so there’s no one-click import, and levels and XP start fresh. Setting up the modules you use takes an afternoon. After that, Kovu can carry your setup:
- Backup and import
- Once one server is set up, save a backup, restore it later or copy the whole setup to another server you manage. You see every change before it’s applied.
- Custom commands and autoresponders
- Export and import them as a file, to copy them between servers or edit them in bulk.
- Embeds
- Paste a message’s JSON, from an embed builder or another server, into the Message Embedder.
What Kovu doesn’t have
- X and Instagram alerts.
- MEE6 AI: chat, image generation and AI characters.
